Things to Know
We have non-metered street parking along the Armour Street as well as Kinzie (view map). We're also, CTA Accessible via the Green/Pink Lines to the Ashland & Lake Station.
- Please wear long cotton pants, closed toed shoes and a cool, comfortable cotton shirt: long sleeves and 100% cotton clothing are ok. Please do not wear clothing made from synthetic materials like yoga pants.
- Please tie back long hair. Jewelry on your wrists(watches/bracelets) can get hot, we suggest you remove it. Safety eyewear will be provided.
- Your glass pieces should be ready 5 days after you visit.
- While glass is beautiful it is not perfect. Your piece will be unique and will not be without flaws. Color, size, shape variations as well as bubbles are all a normal part of the glassmaking process. Handmade glass product will not be precisely exact nor an identical match to anything, but that is part of the uniqueness, beauty and value in having something hand made.
