Multi-Session Course: Glass 2

Join us for our Glass 2 six session course at Ignite Glass Studios!

Keep on keeping on! Your glass journey is well on its way.  You can now successfully gather, pop a bubble, add frit and create a basic vessel. So what’s next?  In Glass 2 students will work in pairs to assist each other while exploring next steps in glass. Steps include overlaying color, the basics of pulling cane, adding “bits” for design elements and aesthetics. Also, students will be introduced to a new tool package consisting of cork paddles tags, crimps, texture stamps and optic molds to help push their creativity and promote new ideas in the hot-shop!

• Back on the hot horse!

• Adding color to the glass as a pair!
  • Sunday, March 16th 1:00-3:30pm
• Overlay day…take 2: pulling cane/stringers!
  • Sunday, March 23rd 1:00-3:30pm
• Adding “Bits” for decoration/design
  • Sunday, March 30th 1:00-3:30pm
• New Tools, Who Dis!
  • Sunday, April 6th 1:00-3:30pm
• Picture Perfect Vessel!
  • Sunday, April 13th 1:00-3:30pm
