Branch Out

Original glass fusing by Eleanor Harvey, 2021.

This glass fusing was created using extra cane and murrini, scrap glass, and trimmings that Eleanor Harvey found around Ignite Glass Studio and repurposed to create this abstracted tree. She is inspired by recycled art and the natural world; and many of her pieces are made using this process of finding discarded glass material and color and turning that “waste” into something beautiful. The metal stand was custom made for this piece and the base measures 9 x 6 in, with a height of 19.5 in and a width of 19.3 in (including the base).
