Welcome and thanks for booking your Private Lesson at Ignite Glass Studios.
Please fill in the form to schedule your Private Lesson and be aware that Private Lessons must be scheduled at least 7 days in advance. We will do our best to schedule your experience on your desired date and time.Private lessons are a great way to learn about the amazing art of glass making and to create your very own piece of art of your choosing. . . within reason, of course! Activate your creativity and make glass art you can enjoy or give it as a gift to someone special. Discuss with the instructor what you want to make and we’ll see if we can make it happen. . . some popular selections include smallish vases, floppy bowls, fluted dishes, votives, one-of-a-kind vessels, and very unique drinking glasses.
*Unfortunately during a private lesson we are unable to make stemware like goblet or champagne flutes nor mugs as well as other complicated and advanced glass pieces. Please remember while glass is beautiful, it is not perfect. Your piece will be unique and will not be without flaws. Color, size and shape variations as well as bubbles are all a normal part of the glass making process.
We offer much more than just glassblowing lessons!
Our unique and versatile event venue is the perfect setting for your wedding or a private event of any kind and includes an Urban Garden and Private Rooftop. Our group experiences are perfect for team building and coworker outings, are a unique activity for birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions, and bachelor or bachelorette groups.
FREE glassblowing demonstrations almost every Sunday afternoon! Stop by anytime between 2 and 4 PM to watch 2,000 degree molten glass become art.
Come check out our gallery, where you can explore a world of glass art featuring pieces make by Ignite’s resident artists and our visiting artists. You will be amazed by the humble complexity and intricate delicacy of glass transformed by our talented artists.
